Psychic life - recognize the quality of your sensations and emotions

Psychic life is subject to all kinds of variations, and there is a great deal here to study and analyze more closely. You should be able to see whether, after experiencing moments of great spiritual intensity, you are capable of returning to that same level of consciousness. Take the example of listening to music: you all know that there are days when you are deeply moved and transported by a particular piece of music, as though previously unknown cords had begun to vibrate within you, whereas on other days you feel nothing at all. You now need to develop this same awareness in all areas of your psychic life, and learn to recognize the quality and intensity of your sensations and emotions. Yes, this is yet another virtue to cultivate: that of discernment. Every day, every month and every year, you need to see whether or not you have made progress, and if not, why not.
