'Our father'- A Commentary on The Lord's Prayer by Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
In his book, 'The True Meaning of Christ's Teaching', Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov gives a profound, verse by verse commentary on 'The Lords Prayer,' given by Jesus. Omraam draws on the wisdom of the ancient Kabbalistic tradition in which Jesus (and Omraam himself) was immersed. This short extract concerns the first line and highlights how Jesus presented God as a father to all humanity, a new idea for the time. Omraam also connects Jesus' concept of 'Heaven' with that of the 10 sephirot and the angelic hierarchies of the judaic tradition.
